Tyler Williams is an Associate with the law firm of Boykin & Davis. Tyler is a native of Prince Georges County, Maryland and is the daughter and granddaughter respectively, of Seventh Day Adventist pastors. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Tyler received her Juris Doctorate degree from Charleston School of Law.
While attending Charleston School of Law, Tyler made the Dean’s List and was involved as a Student Ambassador, Student Bar Association Supreme Court Justice, Legal Research and Writing Senior Fellow, Honor Council Member, and President of the South Carolina Association for Criminal Defense Lawyers. Tyler was also a dedicated member of the Trial Advocacy Board, where she was named the 2016 Internal Competition Champion and Best Overall Advocate. Tyler’s leadership and dedication to law helped her received two prestigious awards at graduation: (1) The Arthur G. Howe Trial Advocacy Award presented by the South Carolina Fellows of the American College of Trial Lawyers and (2) Being inducted into The Forensic Club, a law institute established in 1825 and chartered at the Charleston School of Law in 2003.
