Tierney Goodwyn is a Senior Associate with the law firm of Boykin & Davis. Tierney is from Columbia and attended public schools in Richland County. She attended Furman University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. Tierney received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
At the University of South Carolina School of Law, Tierney achieved the Dean’s List, and participated in the Juvenile Justice Clinic. Upon graduation from law school, Tierney received the Children’s Law Certificate, denoting a concentration in areas of law that benefit children and families, to include family law, juvenile justice, education law, and child protection and welfare.
Tierney is an active member and leader at Perfecting Faith Church in Blythewood where she serves as the co-director for Young Women of Excellence, a program designed to mentor teenage girls in the areas of academic achievement, social skills, and discipleship. Tierney also serves in the Worship & Arts department as a member of the praise team. Tierney also participates in a community mentorship for teenage girls.
